Thanks to the great fall weather and our dedicated contractors: Molon Excavating, Grand Traverse Construction and Shoreline Power Services we completed all the remaining heated concrete motorcourt sections. It’s beautiful and no more mud!
“🎼 I can see clearly now the pole is gone”…. Charter Communications and Traverse City Light and Power removed the last of the utility poles and overhead powerlines along State Street and through Uptown early this week! What an improvement!
The stump of a large cottonwood tree just west of the Uptown Phase 1 building on the bank of the Boardman River was purposely saved so it could be carved into a piece of chain saw art. Riverview Terrace officials commissioned Scott Kuefler to turn it into this amazing sculpture!
This beautiful piece of art will be easily accessible to the public from the river walk along the north side of the Boardman River which is to be constructed by the City of Traverse City in the fall of 2017.
Now that the wires and poles across the river have been removed, Team Elmer’s installed the helical piers which will support the steps and platforms.
Traverse Outdoor and Molon Excavating, Inc crews have been busy shaping the river bank and building a beautiful rock wall.
